Aarohi pov

I stood there looking at the guy I just hit. He had a phone in his hand maybe he was talking to someone before my shoe landed on his head.

Near him stood a guy in a suit he looked just as shocked as I was. I ran towards them.

"I am sorry, I am sorry, I am sorry, I didn't mean it, I was hitting another guy who just ran there, not that I hit guys with my shoe daily!! I was just angry" I don't know for the next few minutes what I was blabbering both the guys were looking at my face.

"Jyda jor se laga kya?" I asked the guy.

I was touching his head just when the guy next to him said "Sir, we are getting late for the office!"
(Is it hurting? )

The guy I hit looked at me for a sec & moved toward the car. The other guy I guess his assistant behind him.

I bent down & picked up my shoe trying to wear it while standing on one foot.

I lost my balance and I grabbed someone's shoulder "Careful" I heard someone saying.

I looked up to see black eyes staring at me he was the same guy whom I hit. I was holding his shoulder very tightly

"I am sorry once again," I said. He went away without saying anything.

His assistant came towards me and asked "Ma'am what's your name?"

"Aarohi, Aarohi Sharma"

Reyansh Pov

My shoes tapped against the floor as I walked inside the building.The receptionist greeted me "Good morning sir"

I walked towards my private lift with my assistant Rudra.

I was out for an early morning meeting. while coming to my office I met that girl who's not leaving my head ever since.

I was gonna snap at whoever dared to hit me with that shoe but then I saw her.

"Aarohi, Aarohi Sharma" Her voice echoing in my mind.

I was working on my laptop when my mom called me "Hello maa"
( R - Reyansh, M - Mom)

M -"Hello beta, are you busy?"

R -"Nahi maa boleye" I am busy but I'll never be busy for my family.

M -"You remember I told you about the dinner with Sarah's in-laws?"

Sarah my younger sister. She revealed that she was in love with someone. After hearing that I was angry.

Why didn't she tell me about this?! We both have always shared a good relationship, but she never talked about these things with me.

Maybe she's scared of me, she thought I'll not approve of her relationship. We accepted that guy because he seemed like a nice guy.

I have seen him a few times at parties also he's humble and kind. If she's happy with him we are also happy.

But if he hurts her he's gonna face my wrath.

R -"Yes maa! I know, I'll be there"

M -"No no I called you to tell you that we'll be having dinner with them tomorrow"

R -"Why maa ? Any problem ?"

M-"Actually Anirudh's sister just came a few days ago. Her college we'll be starting on Monday so I thought she'll need to rest on Sunday. We decided to shift the dinner to tomorrow, you'll be able to come right?"

R -"Yes maa, I don't have any meetings tomorrow"

M -"Oh great then, come home soon and eat your lunch on time "

R -" Yes maa, take care"

So tomorrow is it!

Aarohi Pov

I was roaming around the mall. They have opened so many food courts here, but the prices are so high like one coffee for 500 !?

I can buy BTS merch with that money. My mom only gave me money to buy the books so I can't buy anything else.

My brother would have given me his card but he's at the office and I don't like asking for money from him.

I should start looking for a job. When I was in Newyork I used to work at a cafe.

There I met my one and only friend I made in Newyork Trisha.

Well she was from India but when her parents died her uncle there took her responsibility. But they don't treat her right.

They don't abuse her or something but they don't let her work at the office.

She has a business degree. On my first day at the cafe, she helped me. That's how we met.

But she's also not receiving my calls. First Riya now Trisha. God why are my friends are like this??!!!!

I suddenly stopped in my track when I saw Riya with some girls and guys.

So she decided to hang out with her new friends and ignore me?!

I called her again to see what she does. She looked at her phone and switched it off.

I felt betrayed we have been friends for 10+ years now. I never thought I'll see this day.

Or maybe I am just too dramatic!

I was getting ready for the dinner which was supposed to be on Sunday. My mom told Bhabi's mom that I'll be starting college here.

She's so nice she decided to shift the dinner early so I get a chance to rest. I am so excited to meet her.

I sprayed my favourite Kayali perfume. My brother gifted it to me. I looked at my face again and left my room.

We were going to the restaurant for dinner. I don't know why I am nervous.

I will be meeting my bhabhi's family for the first time. we reached the restaurant.

Bhabhi and her family were already seating inside. We were going inside when my phone rang.

I just looked at it to see Trisha's name flashing on the screen.

I picked up the call. "Mom, I'll be back" I started walking backwards.

"Hello Trisha" there was no response. I looked at my phone again the call was on.

"Hello, Trisha? Are ou there??" The lines went off. I started calling her again the number was not reachable.

What's happening? First, she never received my call. she called me and didn't say anything. And now her phone is off. I am worried.

I should check up on her. I was in my thoughts when I bumped into someone.

I lost my balance but a hand at my waist was holding me from falling backwards.

"Careful"

I looked up and met his eyes clashing with mine. It was him. The guy who got a headshot from my shoe.

He was wearing a black suit. I guess he lives in suits only. But how will I know that I have only seen him twice?

We were looking at each other. His hand was still on my waist. I shifted awkwardly he was still looking at me.

"Are you gonna leave me ?" I asked.

He left my waist and stood there. I don't know what to say should I say hi or should I say thankyou?

"Well I see you don't use your eyes" He spoke.

Thank God he said something I was feeling uncomfortable.

But wait what ?? What did he say???

"What did you just say?" I asked in disbelief.

"So you have hearing problems as well?" He said making me angry.

"Hello Mr.Sir I can see very well thank you! If you have eyes you should have seen where you were walking!!" I am already stressed thinking about Trisha and this is making it worse but why am I shouting at him?

"I am sorry actually I am not in my right mind" I said and started walking inside.

I could feel him staring at my back.

I saw my family sitting at the table with the rest of our family. I went and stood beside my brother.

"There she is! My daughter Aarohi" my dad said smiling at me.

"Aarohi beta I finally got to meet you" the lady obviously Bhabhi's mom greeted me. She looks like a cheerful person.

"Hello beta" Sarah's dad said.

"Hello, uncle aunty how are you?" I asked them politely.

"We are fine, come here sit down" Sarah's mom ushered me to sit.

There were only two seats left on my brother's right side. Our parents were seating in front of us.

"My son will be here soon, oh look he's here!" Sarah's mom exclaimed in excitement.

I turned my face to see the infamous son everyone keeps talking about.

"NOWAY" I thought to myself .

"Reyansh beta come on sit down" my mom said.

Bhabhi's mom gestured to the guy who happens to be the same I guy abused yesterday.

I mean the one who got a headshot by my shoe and the one I just shouted unnecessarily on.

"Hello" he said in his deep voice.

"Hello beta how are you? How was your trip?" My mom asked him very sweetly.

I don't know what they are talking about because I am not listening to their conversation. I am in my own World.

WHY? Why did he have to be the same guy?? If mom gets to know about this she's gonna murder me.

She already told me to behave nicely with them and I have ruined my first impression on Sarah Bhabhi's brother.

What will he think of me? What if he tells his family?! God, I am so embarrassed!!

"Aarohi beta?" Someone's sweet voice got me back from my lalaland. it was his mom.

Huh??

"They are telling you to order something" my brother whispered in my ear.

"Oh yeah! Yes!" I picked up the menu hiding my face behind it.

Why do I keep embarrassing myself?! I can feel a stare from my Right side. I know who it is and I don't wanna look at him.

Time went by as I sat there not saying anything only concentrating on my food.

"I think you both should go and talk about this somewhere private" my brother's to-be-mother-in-law said. I guess they decided on the venue or something.

It's been 2 minutes since my brother and Bhabhi left. Leaving me alone here.

The parents are talking among themselves. And this guy on my right keeps staring at me!! I stood up taking everyone's attention.

"It's been so long I guess I should go and see where they are" I never stopped to hear their response. I started walking god knows where.
